My name is Diane Richardson and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Tusky Valley Primary School in Mineral City, Ohio.  I have been teaching in the district since 2002.  I have also taught second and third grades in TVLSD, but my love is in Kindergarten. 

 

I graduated from The University of Akron in 2002 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (pre K - grade 3).  In 2015, I earned my Masters degree in Instructional Technology at the University of Akron, as well.  I also have a degree in Interior Design and worked as an interior designer in residential and commercial design for approximately nine years prior to teaching.

 

I am married to my husband, Andrew, and we have one daughter, Olivia.  She is in the seventh grade this year. We also have two cats, Charlie and Abby.  We live in Stark County.

 

I love to read, work on the computer, draw and work on crafts, try new recipes, go on vacation, watch movies, and spend time with my family and friends!

• Food - Chinese and Mexican (which both my husband and daughter dislike!!)

• Children's book - Any Mo Willems book  (esp. Knuffle Bunny)

• Drink - the coffee I make at home & diet cherry Pepsi

• Hobbies - drawing / crafts, reading, watching movies

• Favorite thing to do - be with family
